The Atlanta Zoo has named their
adorable 3-month-old panda cub, Po, after the animated star of the
hit movie Kung Fu Panda. Jack Black, who is quite adorable in his
own right, was on hand for the naming ceremony. Black, who supplies
the voice for Po in the upcoming sequel, Kung Fu Panda 2, posed for
pictures with Po who now weighs 10 pounds.
The studio Dreamworks will make
a donation to the Zoo for its panda conservation program in return
for using the name Po.
Kung Fu Panda 2 will hit
theaters on May 27, 2011 starring Jack Black, Angelina Jolie, Dustin
Hoffman, Jackie Chan and Jean-Claude van Damme.
